Join Us in Caring for Vanessa's Family

As you may know, Vanessa was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer in March 2024, that quickly spread to her liver. After last week's episode, the oncologists are giving her 3-6 months with chemo, less without.

We are setting up a meal train and go fund me to feed her teenaged boys and husband while they are also taking care of Vanessa. Every little bit helps. Gift cards are also accepted.

At a later point in time, we will have a way to plant a tree in her name as well.

If you know Vanessa, she is the light of every room. Not because she needed the attention, but because we are all drawn to her, like bugs to a evening light. She just has that attribute about her. She also always put her family first in everything she did. She wants to ensure they are taken care of after her death.

Vanessa will be donating her whole body to OHSU Knight's Center for Pancreatic research. In hopes that they will find a cure for one of the most aggressive forms of cancer.
