My name is Ciarah Jenkins and I am a student filmmaker at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. I am currently in the pre-production process for Directing my capstone junior thesis short film titled Citrus. This story is about a teenage girl who impulsively runs away from her abusive father with no place to go and no family to rely on.

I am the only black female director in my class, with an almost entirely black cast, and a black female lead! "Citrus" is a story surrounding the themes of homeless youth and the struggle teenagers that grow up in unstable or abusive homes go through. 

My crew will be very large for a student production (30+ people every day for 5 days in a row!) Not only do we have to feed these lovely people delicious, home cooked meals, but we have to buy equipment and special tools to pull off all of the cool tricks we're planning! 

I need your help bringing her journey to life! She visits a lot of places in one night, and we need a lot of tools to make such a large movie in a short amount of time! Anything you have helps!
