Help Us Celebrate D’Angelo’s Next Chapter

A little over 17 years ago, our family was blessed in the most unexpected and beautiful way. Two precious babies joined our lives when my parents became their foster parents. Though they returned to their biological mom about a year later, they never left our hearts. They have remained a cherished and permanent part of our family ever since.

This week, I’m incredibly proud to celebrate one of them—my little brother, D’Angelo.

Through perseverance, hard work, and an unshakable spirit, D’Angelo has just graduated from high school. But that’s not all—he’s also earned an athletic scholarship to college! His journey hasn’t been the easiest, but he’s met every challenge with strength and determination.

I want to take a moment to congratulate not only D’Angelo, but also his mother, his grandmother, and the “mom and dad” who raised him with love and support. This is a victory for all of them—and for everyone who’s believed in him.

Now, I’m turning to our community to help us honor D’Angelo’s hard-earned success. I’ve started a small fundraiser among our family and friends to support him as he embarks on this exciting new chapter. Whether it’s helping cover travel, books, gear, or a dorm room setup—every little bit counts.

I don’t usually post personal requests like this, but D’Angelo is truly special. And I believe he deserves to feel just how much the world appreciates dedication and grit.

I’ve seen social media come together in beautiful ways—and I’m hoping today will be one of those days.
