Our beloved Adriene recently suffered a sudden cardiac arrest that resulted in a serious brain injury. After time in intensive care and inpatient rehab, she’s now home — but her recovery is long and uncertain. She requires 24/7 care and intensive outpatient therapy, which could last a year or more.

Adriene had just started a new job and doesn’t have paid time off or medical leave. Her partner has had to stop working to care for her full-time. On top of lost income, they’re facing mounting medical bills and ongoing care expenses.

Adriene has dedicated her career to helping older adults navigate complex care systems with compassion and heart. Now she needs that same support from her community.
