My Name is Robert Capron. But it's a good chance you know me as Abstract Louv. I'm a rapper and content creator from Philadelphia. Last year I shaved my head BALD and it literally changed my life. After being thrusted into a seemingly scary new lifestyle, I found myself welcomed with open arms into one of the most supporting and reaffirming communities there is. And that's when I came up with the idea for Bald Fest. I wanted to showcase this community in the light that our society never seems to cast. And also i wanted everyone to have a chance to mangle with the community and listen to some great live music. My expectations for the festival was humble, maybe a good 50 people would show and we have a great time. However social media had different plans instore. After going viral on multiple social media platforms and local and national news reaching out to me for interviews. Bald Fest grew to a scale I still can't fathom. Last year the city of Philadelphia blessed us with a permit so we could host Bald Fest at Grays Ferry Crescent Skatepark. This year I'm pulling those same permits on my own and they're expensive! So I'm kindly asking the community to help fund Bald Fest, so we continue this grand celebration of Baldness and so we keep Bald Fest 100% free!
