Hector is in urgent need of surgery that could drastically improve their health and quality of life. Unfortunately, the cost of the procedure, along with follow-up medical care, prescriptions, and travel expenses, has created a financial burden we simply cannot carry alone.

On July 21, 2025, Hector suffered a complex ankle fracture while taking a powerful leap of courage — skydiving as a bold act of resilience in his recovery journey.

During landing, his foot caught the ground, causing a serious injury. While Hector understood the risks, he chose to face fear head-on, showing us all what true bravery looks like.

He wasn’t just skydiving — he was making a statement for every person fighting for their recovery. His leap was a symbol of perseverance, hope, and strength.

Hector is a warrior — and he did something truly powerful for our community.

Here’s the hard part:

He does not have medical insurance, and all the surgery and follow-up care will be 100% out-of-pocket.

His wife (newly married) will be taking time off work to help care for him, so his household income will be reduced.

He is an independent photographer, and while he prays his upcoming events won’t be affected, the situation has made his future uncertain.

The estimated cost of surgery and post-op care is $10K, and every single dollar will go directly toward medical expenses, follow-up appointments, and healing necessities. This situation has been physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming—but we know that together, we can get through it. ❤
