Everyone who knows my mother, knows that she has faced many obstacles and has been battling with health issues for over 20 years. From heart attacks, strokes, gastric bypass, one open heart surgery, and many recoveries, she is now facing another major obstacle. The doctors have decided to try to place her on the heart transplant list. With this process comes a lot of expenses that her insurance will not cover. The copayments are necessary but are an obstacle for us to maintain as we all must maintain our day to day life expenses. We are reaching out to our family, friends and community to raise funds for her copayments, medications, treatments or anything she may need while we work with her doctors to do what is necessary to get her much needed heart transplant. Anything that you can give will be greatly appreciated and will go strictly to reducing her stress in covering her medical expenses. Thank you for taking the time to read and reshare this post.
