My name is Whitney Santner and I'm raising money to cover medical costs and living expenses for my sister, Chris Heidenreich, as she recovers from a liver transplant. Chris finally received her new liver on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Surgery went well and she is recovering. She will be off work for at least 6 months to fully recover.

A few years ago, Chris was diagnosed with Hepatitis and non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. This past year, they found a tumor on her liver. This tumor ended up being an aggressive cancer and she would not be eligible for a partial transplant, but instead needed a full liver or the cancer would return. She had to undergo Y90 radiation treatment before being able to receive a transplant, and with the cancer diagnosis, she lost the window to acquire Aflac coverage.
