Join Us: Billy Strickland Needs Your Prayers

Hello Facebook family & friends,

I know we all have seen these fundraisers.

This one is personal. My uncle, Billy Strickland, has been recently diagnosed with a Glioblastoma. Surgery is NOT an option. In a few days, he will be told if he can have radiation and/or chemotherapy. The added expenses for all things related to having a serious diagnosis are already adding up. The first and most important need is prayer. We thank you for those in advance. Billy is a Christian and believes in the power of prayer.

He was in the process of adding on a bathroom to their home when his health started failing him. He will need ramps added to his home and rides to and from treatment. We all know there will be numerous extra and unexpected expenses that will arise. If God lays it on your heart, please contact his wife and ask what they need. She might just need someone to chat with, the yard mowed, the floor mopped, supper cooked, or the car filled with gas. It doesn't have to always be monetary. All the regular things that need to be done at home will still need tending to. Gina's first priority will be Billy.

To know Billy... is to love Billy!!! He has always been a fun and joyous person!! In our family, he is known as Silly Billy!!
