This is our baby boy Rod. He is 4 years old. He came up missing July 7th on the morning of a theft that took place near our home. Because Rod was barking at them, we think the same people that did the theft, may have hit him with their car, took him, then dropped him in a ditch far from our home. After a week of posting him on every Facebook animal site, many miles driven up and down roads calling his name, many of you sharing posts, many tears shed, and a lot of prayers lifted up, the Lord brought him home to us. He was in pretty bad shape. We knew he would be hungry and thirsty but we didn’t expect this. To our surprise, he has a broken pelvis, dislocated hip, and one of his testicals is pushed up inside of him. The estimate is expected to be up to $6,000 plus rehab. We took him in, the earlier part of December 2024 after my dad died. Someone dropped him off on the side of the road, near our home, to fend for himself. We named him Rod after my dad, Rodney. Now someone has done the unimaginable to him and we are going to have to gain his trust once again. We ask that you help us pray for his healing, physically and mentally, and also for the finances to cover his surgery. We believe, by faith alone, that God Is Faithful and can use amazing folks like y’all to help us on this journey to get Rod back to the healthy, happy boy he was.
