Recently, your dear friend and my brother Jake experienced a serious medical emergency that left him hospitalized. Tragically, he was down for four days before he was found, and he is now facing a long and difficult road to recovery. As someone who is fiercely independent and humble, Jake would never ask for help — but I’m here to do that on his behalf, because I know he can’t do this alone.

As he transitions to rehabilitation and begins the healing process, there are essential home modifications that must be made for him to live safely and with dignity. These include installing a walk-in shower with a seat and building a ramp at his home for mobility access.
