Dear friends and family,
My dear friend and sister-in-law, Trudy Waldner, has been diagnosed with sarcoma, which is a muscle cancer. After struggling for many years with pain in her left leg, in April she noticed a lump on her upper leg. Her doctor ordered an ultrasound, and they thought it looked suspicious. She then had an MRI, and they suspected that it was cancer. This was confirmed by a biopsy, and on April 29, they diagnosed her with sarcoma. She is going to have a body CT scan to make sure it hasn’t spread. A taunting five weeks, five days a week radiation schedule and then surgery to remove the tumor is before her. The tumor has attached to her artery and will be a long, tedious surgery and then recovery...
Their insurance has a $7,000 out-of-pocket deductible. All the medical bills and taking off work for appointments are an extra strain and any help would be greatly appreciated.
