Tracy was diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer on October 24, 2024. Triple Negative is an aggressive, invasive breast cancer subtype that makes up about 15% of all breast cancers.

Tracy is currently undergoing 12 rounds of chemotherapy, once a week. After these first 12 rounds, she will do 2 more months of a more aggressive chemo combination, followed by surgery in June.

It’s a long road to recovery, but we’re confident Tracy will come out of this cancer-free and stronger than ever! She has maintained a positive attitude, despite everything she’s going through.

During treatment, Tracy is unable to work because the chemo makes her sick, and she’s spending 3-4 days a week at an integrated medicine center to ensure the cancer doesn’t return once it’s gone, as the chances of recurrence with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) are higher than hormone-positive breast cancer. Her treatments at the integrated center are not covered by insurance, but it’s imperative for her healing to be there.
