On the afternoon of June 25th 2024, the absolute unimaginable that we never thought would happen, happened. Tommy, owner of DAG Towing, loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle was just finishing loading a car on the side of I 295, when another tow truck swerved, struck him, and left the scene without even stopping to see if he was alive.

Firstly, we are forever grateful to the multiple witnesses who stopped to assist with the accident prior to the emergency responders arriving, as they may have possibly been the ones to save his life. To ALL of the first responders who lended a helping hand and heart making sure that Tom had the most expedited and professional care available at the scene and beyond, we are forever grateful for your service.

From the scene, Tom was helivac’d to Cooper hospital Trauma Unit. Upon extensive tests and scans it has been found that he has suffered multiple pelvic and leg fractures, amongst several other major injuries almost head to toe. Going forward, he unfortunately will need one, if not multiple surgeries and extensive rehabilitation and has a long, steep road ahead of him to recovery.

Tom is the sole provider for his family which is comprised of his loving wife, three beautiful children and a goofy pup. As you can imagine, this unfortunate situation has already, and will furthermore, put his career, household and family under extreme financial pressure. We are asking you to reach deep within yourself as we humbly ask for any help that any of you may be able to offer. Donations made in any amount will be greatly appreciated and largely assist with the cost of hospital bills, loss of income and household expenses for Tom and his family.
