Our long time friend, adventure buddy, and community member, Todd Hanson, needs our help. After seeking medical guidance for ongoing stomach pains, Todd’s reality quickly morphed into one that he could have never expected. Pancreatic cancer. Bloodwork and imaging revealed a 2.6 cm mass on 8/14. Since then, Todd has gotten a biopsy, stent placement, port insertion, and will start chemotherapy on 9/2.

The cancer has been staged at 1b which has an optimistic prognosis relative to later stages. The current treatment plan is 3-6 months of chemo followed by surgical intervention.
