Help My Sister Save Her First Home at 68
My sister has always been a fighter—a resilient woman who has worked tirelessly her entire life to make ends meet. At 68 years old, she achieved a milestone many only dream of: she purchased her first home. It wasn’t easy, but this accomplishment meant everything to her. Unfortunately, due to a heartbreaking situation, she’s now facing the unimaginable—losing her beloved home.
Years ago, my sister was scammed into purchasing a timeshare she couldn’t afford. Struggling with the financial burden, she sought help from a lawyer, who successfully canceled the debt and provided official documentation confirming this. Relieved and believing the nightmare was behind her, she thought she could finally move forward. But she didn’t know that the timeshare company, Crown Asset Management, LLC, had taken her to court. Worse, she was never notified of the hearing and didn’t know to appear. Without her side of the story being heard, a judgment was made against her.
Her wages are now being garnished—$150 taken from her paycheck each week. Despite working two jobs and doing everything in her power to stay afloat, this relentless garnishment has drained her finances. And now, this judgment threatens her home—the very place she fought so hard to call her own.
The total judgment is $7,121.59. Paying this off would give my sister the financial breathing room to keep her home and finally move forward. At her age, taking on more work is simply impossible, and she doesn’t deserve to face this alone.
My sister’s story is one of strength and perseverance, but even the strongest among us need help sometimes. I’m asking for your kindness and generosity to help her resolve this judgment so she can keep her home—a symbol of everything she has worked for.
Every dollar brings us closer to lifting this burden and giving her the peace she deserves. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign with others would mean the world to us. Together, we can help my sister keep her home and restore hope in her life.
