Join Theresa Mangelsdorf's Fight Against Stroke

Hi, my name is Ryan Mangelsdorf. I am one of four boys raised by Theresa Mangelsdorf. My mom is a beautiful soul and a kind spirit. On March 15, 2024, while driving home from work, my mom had a brain hemorrhage which caused her to have a stroke. From there, she spent several weeks in the ICU at Morton Plant, followed by a month at Sable Palms Recovery Center where she spent her time working with therapists (speech, occupational, physical) to regain use of her left side as well as her ability to speak. After coming home, she continued to struggle greatly cognitively but continued to improve physically.

On May 29th, I came home from work only to find my mom in severe pain. I called the ambulance and they brought her to Morton Plant and did a scan of her head only to find out that she’s having another brain hemorrhage, only this time much worse. Right after completing the scan of her brain, she was rushed into surgery for a craniotomy. After spending weeks at Morton Plant Hospital again, she has now returned back to Sable Palms recovery center and is in really bad condition. Thoughts and prayers are much appreciated and needed at this time.

My mom is 70 years old and lives on a fixed income. We are asking for help on behalf of my mother to help pay for her medical expenses while we go through this trying time. Thank you so much for reading and any help is greatly appreciated. God bless
