Our sweet baby Theodore Emmanuel Handy (Teddy Bear) went home to be with Jesus 4/22/25 @ 333pm. In moms arms surrounded by all his family and friends that loved him. He looked up to mom smiled his biggest smile and took his last breath. In that moment I knew he was in the arms of Jesus. The pain he was experiencing while struggling to breathe was no more.

Despite the uncertainties and the medical recommendations, I chose to embrace hope and faith, standing unwavering by Theodore's side. I witnessed his remarkable strength as he fought even before his birth, defying the odds and making his courageous entrance into the world. The resilience and determination that Theodore has shown since his arrival have been nothing short of extraordinary. His journey has been marked by numerous medical evaluations and tests, and each result has filled our hearts with gratitude and hope. His little heart, once a source of concern, now beats strong and beautifully, powering his determined spirit. His lungs, kidneys, and other internal organs are functioning as they should, showcasing his resilience in the face of adversity. The path ahead holds two pivotal surgeries, a tracheostomy, and a gastrostomy. We have received acceptance from Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC, for these vital procedures, offering Theodore the opportunity to thrive and come home. However, financial constraints and insurance-related complexities pose significant obstacles. The costs associated with medical transport and potential out-of-pocket expenses weigh heavily on us as we navigate this critical juncture. In our quest to provide the best care for Theodore, we are reaching out for support. Your generous contributions will help ensure that Theodore receives the care he needs to continue his remarkable fight.
