Join the Village: Aid Taylor's Health Journey

Hey there, I have struggled over the past few days to make this GoFundMe. With Taylor’s OK, I have decided to proceed.

After coming home from work the other day, my son Taylor woke at midnight in extreme pain.

I woke up to text messages reading:

“I ended up getting home last night and taking a shower to having some kinda attack, what I think may be kidney stones.

It felt like a Chinese finger trap was squeezing my organs from the inside, so I made Kenny take me to the hospital.

They have since been treating me. I have a fever, possibly an infection, maybe kidney stones. They’ve got me on IV antibiotics.”

Taylor spent two days in ICU with very low blood pressure and a fever. After many bags of antibiotics through IV and syringes of antibiotics, they were able to stabilize his blood pressure.

The pain has not returned.

He has been tested for everything—CT scan, MRI—all scans done and all come back clear.

The doctor said he believes Taylor had septic shock likely from a kidney infection that he did not know he had.

We do not yet know his discharge date, and he will need a moment to fully recover, all while being stressed about his bills.

Taylor rents a 3-bedroom home with a roommate and has been able to maintain his home for nearly two years.

I do not want him to worry—I want him to recover fully and be healthy.

My goal is to show Taylor we have a village. In small amounts of donations, a village is here praying for him to recover and continue being healthy.
