Dear Church Family, the city of Jackson, Mississippi has experienced many forms of desolation for many generations. Religiousness without the true Power of God, food deserts and lack of healthy food options, gun violence and drug trafficking devastating the African American community, economic desolation and lack of opportunities for improvement, destabilization of families, tyrannical abuse from corrupt magistrates, systemic injustice and the list goes on. One thing in common in all of these very real issues is that there is no sense of hope. No anticipation or expectation of improvement and transformation.
We are the Trent Family, Joshua, Eliza, Imanuel, and Elizabeth. Our family has been Set-Apart by the will of God full-time for the work of the Gospel. My wife Eliza and I are currently the Pastors and Overseers of Sound of Freedom Church which is a local congregation in the city of Jackson, Mississippi. In 2021, King Jesus spoke to our family, to leave Eastern Europe where we were serving the Church, to return to the States and embark on an apostolic mission across the South, beginning in Mississippi. Last fall, Eliza and I successfully conducted a 5 Day Miracle Crusade to win the lost souls in one of the very hard hit neighborhood in the city of Jackson, Mississippi.
We’ve taken a MASSIVE RISK to leap out in Faith to continue the spiritual Momentum in the region by launching Sunday Services in the exact same neighborhood and by God‘s grace without fail every week we have seen miraculous healings of the sick and injured, and other demonstrations of the Holy Spirit. Even in the midst of shootings, high level witchcraft, and manifestations of Territorial Spirits, we have seen men, women, and children surrender to King Jesus and be Water Baptized into Christ as a result of our preaching of the Gospel! Prostitutes, drug dealers, and murderers have all been impacted so far!
We have also been able to distribute food and clothing to families in need.
We are expectant that in 2025 we will take this neighborhood for King Jesus and His Kingdom!
To start this year 2025 with momentum we are now raising a total of 3 months of our Ministry Budget so that we can continue to effectively and efficiently serve this neighborhood of the city of Jackson that has been wracked by violence and economic devastation! Our Father’s heart is for the poor, the needy, and the hopeless, Luke 4:18.
