I'm running the Tahoe 200—a grueling 200-mile ultramarathon—to raise funds and awareness for Jonah's fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).
This is Jonah.
He’s 8 years old, full of imagination, and absolutely obsessed with Minecraft and dreams of becoming a YouTuber one day.
On January 20, 2023, Jonah was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) — a rare, progressive muscle-wasting disease that currently has no cure. It slowly takes away physical strength, but it can never touch Jonah’s spirit, his humor, or his resilience.
We’re sharing his story today not just to raise awareness, but to ask for your help. Every donation — no matter the size — brings us one step closer to a future where Jonah can grow up with more options and hope.
How You Can Help
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward Jonah’s ongoing and future needs. This includes critical medical expenses and mobility tools — such as wheelchairs, specialized home equipment, and adaptive technologies — that will become necessary as the disease progresses. Your donation will help ensure Jonah can maintain as much independence and quality of life as possible in the years ahead.
If you’ve been moved by Jonah’s story, please consider donating. Every mile I run is dedicated to helping Jonah and others like him in the battle against this devastating disease. Please join me in supporting this cause—your contribution can make a real difference.
