March 14, 2025, at approximately 11:31pm, a strong EF-3 tornado hit my street, Claxton Loop, in Arkansas, and killed three people. All the deaths from this storm were across the street from my house. The tornado roared through at 60mph, leaving destruction in it’s wake. As soon as it passed, I was across the street, looking for my neighbors in the rubble. I found the sisters, Norma and Ellen. A third one died two houses away and was found by their son in law. Both were alive but Ellen died in my arms a few minutes later. I was able to somewhat stabilize Norma and, with the overwhelming help of emergency personnel, to include the wonderful Cushman Volunteer Fire Department, I was able to help get Norma to the hospital. Unfortunately, Norma succumbed to her injuries in hospital. This storm changed me forever.
About seven months ago, I had decided to start an infrastructure inspection drone company and got as far as buying a small starter professional drone and received my Commercial sUAS pilot’s license. I had one contract before March 14, 2025. The tornado changed all of that. The only thing that I want to do now is rescue people trapped in rubble and help emergency personnel locate missing persons. The emergency personnel need thermal drones but only two departments in North Arkansas even have them. I can fill that gap and help them at no charge with my drones. No emergency service or state agency will pay a penny for my services. The only problem with that is that I will not be able to afford the thermal drone necessary for operations with emergency personnel. I humbly request that you, the public, to aid me in raising the $10,000.00 required to purchase a thermal drone system that I can deploy to save lives. I will not fail you, the supporters, as this is my complete plan for my future. I am going to help emergency personnel around these United States and the rest of the World save lives.
