A Broadway Album; Join the Journey

Hello you beautiful, generous humans!

I'm asking for your help once again. I would love to record a Broadway Album.

I've already recorded two songs and one is coming out as a single on Saturday, June 1st! Something's Coming from West Side Story. The other song was recorded with my lovely friend Hillary Marren. You Matter to Me from Waitress. But you'll have to wait for the album to hear that one!!

I would like to do 8 other songs, so 10 altogether. I'm planning a well-rounded repertoire with songs from composers across the musical theater catalogue. Think Sondheim, Rogers and Hammerstein, Lin Manuel Miranda. Andrew Lloyd Weber...the list goes on! And I have a couple more duets planned as well.

After doing the Christmas Album, it was a great learning experience. And I thank all those who donated to make it happen. I hope you enjoy listening to it and will continue through the years. With the Broadway Album, I'd like to do it a little differently. I would like a fuller sound with more instruments. So I did a little research and discovered a company in England that creates original tracks with live instruments. I worked with them on the first two songs, and I'm thrilled with how they turned out. Go listen to Something's Coming, and you'll hear what I'm talking about!

That being said, it costs a bit of money to record and create live instrument tracks as well as studio time. The two songs I have already recorded cost $1600. So another 8 songs would cost me approximately $6400. There are other costs as well; song rights, distribution fees, a photographer for the album cover, and mastering. Basically, it all adds up quickly.

But with your generous help, I can make it happen! From the bottom of my heart, I am exceedingly grateful. I cannot wait to share this project with you, and I'm planning on having it all finished by late winter/early spring of 2025.
