Hi! We are the Foster family, a husband and wife who have been fighting with infertility for the past 3 years. After several months of Ashley being on hormone after hormone and being dropped by her OBGYN of 10 years we recently sought help from a fertility specialist. Although this brought to light a lot of new information it also showed us that her previous doctor was giving her medication incorrectly and even with doing multiple ultrasounds a month her doctor missed a large polyp in Ashley’s uterus requiring pretty urgent surgery. The surgery was completed within a few days of the scan and everything went well as far as removal but still have no results of the biopsy. After meeting with the fertility specialist at the follow up we were told it is a very small chance for Ashley to get pregnant naturally due to scar tissue and issues caused by the size of the polyp. This news has shaken us to the core as all we have wanted for years was to bring a child into this world together. It’s no secret that fertility treatment is expensive and out of many people’s budget to pay for up front which is what is required. This being our only option to bring a baby into the world we are taking to the internet to tell our story to strangers and loved ones. Putting our pride aside has been one of the hardest things to do and we know everyone is struggling in this economy.
