This June, I will be traveling to Thailand on a mission trip to train with an organization focused on combating human trafficking—a heartbreaking global issue affecting countless lives. I believe most are heartbroken over these horrific acts, but don’t know how to help. During this journey, I will be trained to recognize, respond to, and help prevent trafficking while working alongside local law enforcement and other organizations already making a difference.

As I’ve prayed over this calling, one verse has stood out to me:

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.” – Proverbs 31:8 (NLT)

This verse reminds me that we are all called to act on behalf of the vulnerable. In Thailand, I will have the opportunity to be a bridge to freedom for the children enslaved by human trafficking.

In order to make this mission possible, I am seeking both prayer and financial support. The total cost of the trip is approximately $6000, which will cover; airfare, lodging, training materials, and the work we will do in partnership with anti-trafficking efforts on the ground.
