Hi everyone, Linda here, sister to Jorge Rojas Jr. It was recently discovered my brother has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Stomach Cancer. Due to the unforeseen diagnosis, medical bills, surgeries and out-of-town hospital trips we are seeking outside support.

Back in early April Jorge went to the ER due to experiencing pain in both his stomach and back. It was determined it was due to his gall bladder and it needing to be removed. Along with that, he had a gall stone in his liver bile which prevented his liver from functioning 100%.

During surgery to remove his gall bladder, he was diagnosed with Helicobacter pylori, simply known as a bacteria that infects the stomach in addition to an unknown mass on his stomach. It was then that a sample was taken and sent off for testing; not at all what anyone expected. Now waiting, biopsy results . . . results received as abnormal and on April 17, 2023 he was diagnosed with Stage 2 Stomach Cancer.

As my brother goes through this process it will be a challenging battle since he is having to travel 3hrs round trip to and from Houston to Chi St. Lukes Health, Woodlands Hospital. In addition to these back and forth visits for checkups, chemo and radiation he will need to be out of work for 5-6 weeks post surgery. And of course, the never ending medical bills. Again, any help is help. Whether it be a donation, word of mouth or just sharing his story it would be greatly appreciated.
