Join Kim's Fight Against HER2 Positive Breast Cancer

In March a diagnoses was made of stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer which is also HER2 positive. HER2 is a protein produced by the individuals body that multiples cancer cells making it grow and mastesize at a fast rate.

The treatment plan has been to do 12 weeks of chemo to shrink the tumors enough to make them operable. Once that is completed they will do a double mastectomy followed by another 6 + months of chemo depending on what is found during surgery.

Work has not been possible due to the invasive chemo taken to fight this type of cancer. Help is greatly appreciated to cover the utilities for her home, basic living expenses and hopefully a tooth extraction highly recommend by the oncologist due chemo diminishing the ability to fight off infection.
