I don't like asking for help, but here we are... Let me provide some background of my story, and you can choose to help or keep scrolling.

I initially started my weight loss rollercoaster ride in 2006, when the lap band was in its height of fame. Doctors back then were set up to tell you how you are failing the "tool", not the other way around. I suffered for 16 years with that junk in me. I called it food roulette, I would be able to eat everything, nothing or half (then maybe even throw that up and try again).

Fast forward to March 2021, I had the lap band removed at Vanderbilt and revised to bypass in June 2021.
I have since lost 225 lbs.
Insurance was instrumental in getting me this far but unfortunately, skin removal is cosmetic and not covered. We *heavily* documented all my issues with cleanliness, knots/lesions due to skin folds, rashes, etc., but nothing worked so I lost faith and was just going to live with the "consequences."
Well, I have started to have groin and body pains. I had CT scans and ultrasounds, X-rays, saw a chiropractor, multiple doctors, and a stretch therapist to treat or diagnose the issues. The only thing each comes back to is that it's related to the weight of the skin on my current body. My PCP has asked that I work on a plan to have the excess skin removed to help with these issues.
I will need the following in two separate surgeries:
- Thigh lift
- Abdominoplasty w/ fleur-de-lis
- Brachioplasty
- Mastopexy
- Lower body lift w/ groin fix
- Back/Body contouring

I don't have the funds available to make that happen for myself even though I have worked so hard to get here.
I have started to act, sing, and thrive in my daily life - but these pains and baggy skin is hindering my day to day life. If you are so inclined to help, I would be eternally grateful. ❤️❤️
