Our sister, Chantel “CiCi” Brooks, is missing.
Every day that passes without answers is another day our family wakes up wondering where she is, what happened to her, and whether someone out there knows something they have not said.
We cannot just sit with those questions.
We need help.
CiCi’s disappearance has received news attention, but for us this is not a headline. This is our sister. This is our family. This is someone we love deeply, and we are doing everything in our power to find her.
There are still people who need to be located and questions that need to be answered.
We especially need help locating the boyfriend CiCi was living with and determining what information he may have. We are not accusing anyone. We simply believe every person who may have information should be found, interviewed, and asked the questions that could help us understand what happened to our sister.
We also need someone who can follow the trail of CiCi’s missing vehicle, speak with witnesses, review available surveillance and records, revisit leads, and travel wherever the investigation takes them.
That is why we are raising $35,000 to fund an experienced independent private investigator for what may become a multi-state investigation.
What the funds will be used for
The money raised will be used specifically for efforts connected to finding CiCi and getting answers, including:
Private investigator retainer and hourly investigative fees
Multi-state travel to follow leads
Airfare, lodging, rental cars, mileage, and other investigative travel costs
Locating and interviewing potential witnesses
Efforts to locate CiCi’s boyfriend and determine what information he may have
Searching for and tracing CiCi’s missing vehicle
Reviewing available surveillance footage, records, timelines, and other evidence
Public records searches and professional investigative databases
Background and location research connected to potential leads
Coordination with investigators or resources in other states when needed
Follow-up on new and existing leads
Other reasonable investigative expenses directly related to finding CiCi and determining what happened to her
Why $35,000?
This may not be an investigation that stays in one city or even one state.
Following people, vehicles, records, witnesses, and new leads across state lines can quickly become expensive. We do not want to hire an investigator only to have the search stop because the money runs out when the next important lead is hundreds or thousands of miles away.
We want to give an experienced investigator the resources to go wherever the facts lead.
Our family has already been searching, calling, asking questions, sharing her story, and trying to piece together information ourselves.
But we are her family.
We need professional help.
Imagine someone you love disappearing.
Imagine going to sleep every night not knowing where they are.
Imagine waking up every morning hoping today will finally be the day someone calls with an answer.
That is what our family is living through.
CiCi is not just a missing woman.
She is our sister.
She is loved. She is missed. She has people waiting for her, praying for her, searching for her, and refusing to give up on her.
If you can donate, please help us fund this search.
If you cannot donate, please share this fundraiser.
The right person could see CiCi’s face.
Someone could recognize her vehicle.
Someone may know where her boyfriend is.
Someone may remember something they did not realize was important.
One person. One memory. One lead. One answer could change everything.
Her name is Chantel “CiCi” Brooks.
She is our sister. She is missing. And we will not stop searching for her.
Please help us find CiCi and bring our sister home. She's been missing For more than two months, & our family has been living with unanswered questions, sleepless nights, and the pain of not knowing where Chantel is or whether she is safe. We have continued searching, passing out flyers, following up on information, speaking publicly about her disappearance, and doing everything we can to make sure her name and face are not forgotten.
Chantel is more than a missing-person flyer. She is a daughter, a sister, a loved one, and an important part of our family. There are people who love her, miss her, and are waiting every day for the moment we can finally bring her home.
Our main goal has never changed — Bring Chantel Home Safely. But continuing this fight comes with real costs. From hiring a private investigator, printing and distributing thousands of flyers, organizing searches, traveling to different areas to follow leads, and doing everything possible to keep Chantel’s story in the public eye, the expenses continue to grow.
We are also working toward placing billboards for Chantel throughout several Bay Area counties. Our hope is to get her face and information in front of thousands more people across the region. Someone may have seen Chantel, her vehicle, or something connected to her disappearance without realizing how important that information could be. One person seeing the right billboard at the right time could provide the information that helps bring Chantel home.
We cannot do this alone.
Our family is asking for help in any way you can give it. Whether that means making a donation, helping us pass out flyers, participating in a search, continuing to share Chantel’s story on social media, or simply keeping Chantel and our family in your prayers — every single act of support matters.
Please don’t stop saying her name. Please don’t stop sharing her face. Please don’t stop praying.
Any funds raised will help with private investigative work, search efforts, flyer printing and distribution, billboard placement, travel related to the search, and other necessary expenses involved in keeping the search for Chantel active and visible.
Our mission remains the same today as it was the first day she went missing:
BRING CHANTEL HOME SAFELY.
To everyone who has already searched, shared a flyer, donated, prayed, made phone calls, attended an event, passed out information, or simply stood beside our family during these incredibly difficult days — we sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We will keep searching.
We will keep sharing.
We will keep saying her name.
And we will not stop until Chantel is home.
