Denizens of the World, welcome to Compendium–an Origins Mod-inspired civilization event! Expect roleplay, colorful characters, triumphs, tribulations, and likely chaos–all woven to tell a tale across nine islands. 500-600 players will be accepted, each having provided their first, second, and third choice from a list of nine Origins. Depending on the Origin chosen, players will spawn on an island unique to their Origin, with others of the same Origin. Players will also be given the opportunity to choose from a list of “classes” that grant a bonus depending on your playstyle. Borders will be up between islands until halfway through the event, and build days are to be decided–but no combat or lore will occur on these days.

Within the world, you’ll be able to explore ruins unique to each Origin island, make friends (and probably enemies), traverse new lands, and utilize your skills to the best of your ability!

For those unfamiliar, Origins is a mod designed to give players strengths and weaknesses related to mob traits! Whether you’re an empowered Enderian, or an anxious Avian, there will always be a page for you in the Compendium.

Donations will go towards funding the Minecraft server itself, as I am a broke college student who wants to host a fun event for a large group of people. A server that can handle this many players is no joke--nearly $250 USD for a 16 Core server!
