BROCK STRONG: Help Tim Fight Stage 4 Colon Cancer

My name is Tim Brock, and I am currently fighting Stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to my liver.

I am a husband, step-father, a grandfather of six, a brother, a son, and a friend. Most importantly, I am a man who loves his family and is fighting for more time with the people who mean the world to me.

I have spent my career as a train conductor for CSX, working hard to provide for my family. I am blessed to have what most people would consider excellent health insurance through my employer. Unfortunately, even with good insurance, many of the treatments I am seeking at this stage of my cancer journey are not covered, leaving our family facing overwhelming medical expenses.

In March 2023, my life changed forever when I was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer that had already spread to my liver. Since then, I have endured chemotherapy, radiation treatments, hospital stays, procedures, and countless doctor appointments. Like many families facing cancer, we have experienced fear, uncertainty, and difficult decisions every step of the way.

Through it all, I have continued to fight with faith, hope, and the love and support of my family, friends, and community.

After extensive research and much prayer, we have decided to pursue specialized treatment that we believe offers another opportunity to continue my fight against cancer and improve my quality of life. Unfortunately, these treatments are not covered by insurance, creating a significant financial burden for our family as we do everything possible to keep fighting.

The cost of treatment, travel, lodging, and related medical expenses is approximately $65,000. While this is an overwhelming amount for our family, we are trusting God and the kindness of others to help us reach this goal.

In addition to this GoFundMe, we are launching the Brock Strong Movement and selling Brock Strong bracelets. Each bracelet represents faith, strength, hope, perseverance, and the power of a community coming together to support someone in need.

As a husband, I am fighting for more time with my wife. As a grandfather, I am fighting for more time with my six grandchildren. As a brother, son, and friend, I am fighting for more moments with the people I love.

More family dinners.

More holidays.

More birthdays.

More memories.

More moments that so many of us take for granted.
