Imagine a man who has faced life with unwavering strength, who has always been his family's pillar of support and hero. For us, that man is my father. Over a year ago, our world changed when he was diagnosed with Cancer. Since then, it's been an arduous journey filled with hope, fear, and resilience.

The Road So Far

His first surgery, which took place just over a month ago, brought a glimmer of hope. The procedure went well, but soon after, he became very unwell and was diagnosed with urosepsis. It was a critical moment where we almost lost him. Thanks to the incredible medical team at Wisconsin University Hospital and the grace of God, he survived after spending five days in intensive care. His fighting spirit shone through, and now he's feeling much better.

But the battle isn’t over. On June 27th, 2024, he will undergo a second surgery to remove the lymph nodes. This next step is crucial for his recovery, and we need your help.

Our Struggle

Our parents are now retired, dealing with health issues, and traveling between, Illinois, and Wisconsin for treatments. The costs associated with medical treatments and travel have been overwhelming. Although our family is doing everything we can to support them, the financial strain is immense.

This is why we are reaching out to you. Any small donation can make a significant difference in easing the burden on my parents, allowing them to focus on my dad's recovery rather than the mounting expenses.

To show our gratitude and give back, I will be recording and uploading Rancheras songs—my dad's favorites—in 360 video on YouTube. Accommodation: To facilitate these frequent visits, we must cover the cost of hotel stays in Wisconsin for both my mother and father during his appointments and treatments.

Food Costs: While away from home, the funds will also help cover daily food expenses for my parents.

Medical Bills: Despite having insurance, there are significant medical bills that exceed coverage limits. The funds will help alleviate this financial burden.

Monthly Bills: To ensure my Dad can focus on his health without added stress, the funds will contribute to paying monthly household bills.

Treatment Continuation: Ensuring he can continue attending all necessary treatments by covering all associated costs.

Wound Care and Nursing Assistance: Any additional funds will be used for wound care materials and necessary nursing assistance.
