We are reaching out to ask for your support for a dear friend, colleague, and incredible family man — Officer Joel Martinez. Joel has dedicated his life to serving and protecting our community, and now he needs our help.

Recently, Joel received heartbreaking news, he has been diagnosed with stage 3B seminoma cancer. Despite already facing this fight once before, Joel is approaching this new challenge with the same strength, courage, and determination that defines who he is.

Joel is a devoted husband and proud father, and his family is his world. His treatment plan requires him to travel to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, one of the leading cancer centers in the country. The costs associated with medical care, travel, lodging, and time away from work are overwhelming.

While Joel focuses on beating cancer again, we want to ease the financial burden so he and his family can focus on what truly matters — his recovery and spending precious time together.
