My name is Jake Brown and I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my father, William Brown.

William is a hardworking 53-year-old father of two. He has worked tirelessly his entire life to give my brother Aiden and I the best life he could offer. I am starting this fundraiser in order to reciprocate the love and selflessness that my father has given to us his entire life. We recently received the unfortunate news that our father was diagnosed with colon cancer. We are unsure of the severity of the condition due to some financial restraints.

In order to take the proper steps forward with his diagnosis, he requires a body scan to gather more information on the condition. William was also just determined ineligible for state aid/medical insurance and is left unable to pay the $2,000 out-of-pocket cost for the procedure. We also anticipate the possibility of other procedures in the future as well as medication costs.
