UPDATE #3: Put on your best bowtie and join us in celebrating the $50,000 mark! What a generous, supportive, and caring community Team Truman is! This month we had several local fire departments rally support for Truman including: Kohler Fire Department, Sheboygan Falls Fire Department, and Town of Sheboygan Fire Department. Thank you all! We also have "Ties and Trucks for Truman" this month at Kohler School where Truman's classmates can celebrate their friendship with him through activities like wearing Team Truman gear and competing in a "Dueling Dollars" competition. Our love and support for Truman and his parents is strong and thriving and I have no doubt this next goal will soon be in our rear view mirror. #teamtruman
UPDATE #2: Team Truman continues to power past fundraising goals like a runaway truck! We are not taking our foot off the gas when it comes to supporting our hero, Truman! What a breathtaking display of real community, support, and love. Next goal is a big one: $50,000! I know we can do it. This family is strong and this kid is magically amazing. Let's keep truckin' for Truman! And THANK YOU to you, donors, for your generous support. It is deeply appreciated. #teamtruman
UPDATE #1: Wow, Team Truman Members, you have really stepped up to the plate! The generosity has been flowing into TeamTruman headquarters from all over the country and world...but especially from our little corner of the globe, the Kohler/Sheboygan community. Every donation means so much and goes toward getting our little hero back to his life as a kindergartener. As many of you know who have been through this with loved ones and friends, the journey to being cancer-free is a marathon, not a sprint. With this in mind, we are celebrating the milestone of blasting past our first goal of $10,000 and setting a new goal of $40,000. Please keep sharing the link far and wide and we will celebrate each milestone together. #teamtruman
One of the kindest, most community-minded families I know is currently going through a terribly challenging time. Nate and Shayna recently learned of Truman's leukemia diagnosis and are leading the charge to get him back to his life as a happy kindergartener at Kohler School. As many of you know, the journey to being cancer-free is not only emotionally draining, but financially draining as well. If you feel drawn to donating, it would be deeply appreciated.

For those of you who might not have the pleasure of knowing Truman, he is a vibrant, inquisitive, and clever boy who can usually be found riding his electric jeep. His creativity is evident in everything he does, from decorating his jeep with homemade accessories to his selection of dapper bowties; this kid is a charmer! I am happy to report, he also has a feisty side and will meet this challenge head-on with grit and his "tough as nails" stubbornness.
Thank you for giving to a family who gives so much to our community.
Keep watching for #TEAMTRUMAN tee-shirts coming soon!!!!!
