Our dear friend Tim has recently been diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma, a form of Colon Cancer. This life-changing diagnosis came unexpectedly and has turned his and his family’s worlds upside down.

After receiving this diagnosis, Tim underwent genetic testing and was also diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome---a hereditary condition that significantly increases the risk of developing several other types of cancer, especially at a younger age. This means that his fight isn’t just with Colon Cancer now, but also with long-term implications of a genetic condition that could affect his future---and potentially that of his children.

Tim is a devoted husband to Andrea and proud father to Teagan (15) and Piper (13). He spends his free time with Andrea, cheering on his girls and coaching their race team in the winter. He’s always worked hard to support his family, but now he faces a battle that requires all of his strength, energy and focus. As he begins treatment beginning with a surgery on September 19th, and adjusts to life with this diagnosis, the financial burden is growing---medical bills, time off work for both himself and Andrea and the many unexpected costs that come with fighting Cancer.
