As most of you know, Sting Ray has been driven his entire life to become a top echeleon professional driver -- that goal is well within his grasp now.  He is firmly entrenched in the path to be an IndyCar or F1 Driver in the next 5 years.  The Pro Mazda Series he's running this summer will allow him to rub shoulders with all of his IndyCar heroes.

Many of you have expressed an interest in supporting Sting Ray along this very expensive path.  This fund has been established to allow those of you that have not only cheered for but wanted to support Sting Ray financially as he literally races toward his goal of being an IndyCar or F1 Champion.  This is YOUR opportunity to join the exciting ride with Sting Ray as he continues his successful trek to the highest level of motor sports! 

Sting Ray, at the ripe old age of 15, has achieved remarkeable National and International success and notariety at every level of racing.  He is now joining the ranks of professional drivers as he enters the Mazda Road To Indy Series as a Pro Mazda driver for WorldSpeed Motorsports.  This Pro Mazda series runs in conjunction with the IndyCar Series so he'll be on the same tracks during the same weekends as IndyCar.  What a privilege! 

Many of you may not be aware of how the racing industry has changed over the years --  it used to be that wealthy team owners simply hired the best drivers available and went out there and raced.  Unfortunately, that is no longer the case.  Drivers are now expected to bring a significant portion of the operating budget to the team -- meaning you have to pay to drive their car until you reach the top level of racing.  This inequity often favors money OVER talent, so the best drivers aren't always in the best cars (or any car for that matter if they haven't raised the funds to pay for their seat).  

We believe, as many as you do, that world-class talent, hard work, dedication, skills and desire should rise to the top in motorsports, just as they do in all other sports.  It is upon this premise that we've established this fund so that "as a community of supporters" you can help Sting Ray attain the financial backing necessary to progress in this very competitive field.  During the next 5 years on his journey to the top, Sting Ray will need a total of more than $5 million dollars to insure him a seat in a car at each level of the ladder system.  Every little bit that you contribute will help get him there!
