Help Support Nico Hadyk’s Fight Against Ewing Sarcoma

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out on behalf of a loving family—Gary, Kathryn, and their 15-year-old son, Nico Hadyk—who are facing one of the most difficult battles of their lives.

Nico was recently diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer. At just 15, Nico has already begun the long road of chemotherapy treatments, which require him to be hospitalized every other week for several days at a time. As you can imagine, this sudden diagnosis has turned their world upside down.

Nico is a bright, funny, and kind-hearted teenager with a ton of friends and a smile that lights up every room. He’s a high honor roll student (though he’d be the first to tell you he can’t stand geometry), and he loves playing sports—especially golf and soccer. When he’s not out on the field or the green, you can find him on his PS5 or talking about his dream of becoming a trial lawyer one day.

We’re asking for your help to lift some of the burden this journey has placed on the Hadyk family. Donations will go directly to Gary, Kathryn, and Nico to help with:

• Travel and lodging during hospital stays

• Medical bills and out-of-pocket treatment costs

• Meals, household needs, and other unexpected expenses

• Anything that eases the path forward while Nico focuses on healing

The financial strain is real. The family’s insurance plan includes a $20,000 deductible that they are responsible for before coverage kicks in—and that deductible will reset in September when the new fiscal year begins. On top of that, there are many expenses insurance doesn’t cover, like travel, meals away from home, and day-to-day essentials during treatment.

Nico is meeting this fight with strength, humor, and a whole lot of heart. Let’s rally around him and his family with that same love and energy.
