Earlier this month my sister Kacy's 16 year old daughter, GIANNI GENAE was diagnosed with Stage 2A Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer. She recently had a surgery to put the port in her chest to begin Chemotherapy. The hope is after 2 months the cancer will decrease by 60% if not she will have to do both radiation and chemotherapy. We all remain very hopeful even though we are all processing the news in our own way.

Gianni is the only girl in her blended family surrounded by the love and protection of her 6 brothers. She is an amazing Hip Hop dancer and baby sitter. Princess or Anni as we all lovingly call her aspires to become a pediatric surgeon when she is older. The meaning of her name in Hebrew means "Gift from God" and she truly is a sweet soul.

Gianni's journey to healing is just beginning. The Doctors predict its going to be a 6 months process. Her treatments will take place in Sacramento, CA which is about an hour way from where my sister lives. Although Gianni has medical insurance not everything is covered.

My sisters' and I felt led to start a go fund me page to help my sister Kacy and her family with all medical expenses (not covered by her insurance) and everything else associated with Gianni's healing journey.

The funds will go directly to her as I've attached her banking information to this account. I really do not want her to be burdened with finances.
