Emmalynn Grace Slaga is a sweet little 15 month old who is currently battling Peripheral T-cell Lymphoma. She is being treated at UPMC Children’s hospital in which she will undergo multiple rounds of chemotherapy. This page is set up to help the family with any medical and miscellaneous expenses through out their journey. I was hesitant to make a post and share this publicly but after the overwhelming amount of love, support, and prayers we have received for our precious girl in the past week, I felt the need to share what’s going on and to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for everything that’s been done to help us out with caring for our Emmalynn Grace.

On 8/18 we brought Emma to UPMC Children’s ER for some concerning respiratory issues. After a chest x-ray and CT, it was found that she had a large pleural effusion on her left lung and a mediastinal mass that extends onto her left lung. She was placed on high flow oxygen and had a chest tube placed to drain the fluid around her lung.

She has been diagnosed with peripheral T-cell lymphoma and is starting her second day of chemo today. She is doing much better than when we first came in. She’s still playing, but does wear out easily. We have a long road ahead of us but this little girl is a fighter and will get through this. ❤️
