Join Team 34's Mission: Houston Bound!

Team 34 is a FIRST Robotics team based in Athens, AL, comprised of students from all over Limestone County. During the Rocket City Regional in Huntsville, AL, this team qualified to go to the Championships in Houston, TX in April!

The Engineering Inspiration Award is awarded to teams who bring awareness to STEM in their schools or communities. "Celebrates outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within a team's school or organization and community."

Through countless hours of planning, volunteering, and outreach, Team 34 has contributed to the growth of STEM clubs and activities in Limestone County and abroad. This past year, they helped raise funds to help a village in Zimbabwe get water access as well as the materials and education to maintain it.

Participation in FIRST Robotics is expensive, and Team 34 is constantly fundraising not only to get themselves to competitions but to provide opportunities in the North Alabama community for others to engage with science and technology.

Attending the Championship in Houston, TX is very expensive.

Registration Fee: $5750

Hotel Costs: $1500+

Food and Travel: $3000+

As a former member of Team 34 and a current mentor, I know how hard these students work and I know the amazing experience they get out of it. That's why it's so important that they get to attend this championship and celebrate their achievements.
