Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart, hoping to find support for my mother, Shannon, who has been diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer. This diagnosis has turned our world upside down, and we are now facing the difficult reality of getting her the care and love she needs during this challenging time.

My mom is not just my mother; she’s a grandmother of three and has always been the glue holding our family together. She’s the type of person who gives her heart to everyone around her, always putting others first. Now, it's time for me to put my mom first.

I currently live in Tennessee, but my mom is in California. I am asking for your help in moving her to Tennessee, so I can be with her every step of the way during her treatment. Having her close will allow me to take care of her, support her emotionally, and help manage her day-to-day needs, which is vital as she begins this difficult fight.

The funds we raise will go directly toward:

* Moving her from California to Tennessee (transportation, flight, and moving costs)

* Medical expenses not covered by insurance

* Covering her living expenses while she is unable to work.
