Join Sweet Aloha to send aid to Maui Ohana!

The recent fires in Maui hit us close to home. With relatives in and close to Lahaina, we spent days wondering, hoping and praying for their safety. Our hearts broke as the news started to share the devastation and loss.

Sweet Aloha Ice Cream is the only Hawaiian store in South Florida. We are a Hawaiian family-owned store with family from Maui and Molokai. We may be far from the islands, but the islands are never far from our hearts! Since opening, we have met and connected with many Hawaiians from across South Florida! Our mission is to connect our community and spread aloha throughout our South Florida region. While our mission is important, we realize that Maui needs our help now more than ever! The devastation and loss is insurmountable! So, we decided to pitch in and help in any way we can!

We immediately launched a social media fundraising campaign to support a local grass-roots organization, Hawaii Community Foundation. Now with over 1,000 buildings destroyed and over 11,000 Lahaina residents displaced, we knew we could do more to help! This GoFundMe fundraiser was created to offer South Florida Ohana a single and reputable source for the collection of tax-deductible donations! ALL funds raised through this GoFundMe fundraiser go directly to the local organization, Hawaii Community Foundation!
