Hello to all! My name is Mike Dargen and I'm back on behalf of my brother Steve Dargen with an update on his progress. Steve has fought a hard and inspiring battle against cancer since the spring of this year. He has undergone 2 sessions of radiation treatment that severely damaged his neck tissues, eventually culminating in the removal of his larynx and some neck tissue. He now breathes through a stoma in his neck. He recently received a voice prosthesis which wll allow him to "talk" again once he masters how to use it.

During the process of obtaining the prosthesis, more cancer was found in his lungs. We are not sure at this time what it will mean moving forward but expect the epic battle to continue. He has not been able to work since the spring. All previuos generous donations are sooooo much appreciated and have been put to good use paying Steve's medical bills and living expenses. He is, however, still in need of financial help as the odds of him ever being able to work again are very slim. Any donations, no matter big or small, will be greatly appreciated.
