Join Steven's Fight: Cancer

UPDATE - we have found out that he has a tumor wrapping around his esophagus and upper part of his stomach and it is stage 3. He has already gone through one round of chemo and the second round has been delayed due to his health. Next week he will start his second round of chemo back on track. The current plan is for rounds of chemo and then he will have to have a big surgery and recover before starting his last four rounds of chemo. This is going to be a long and hard battle. We have a wonderful team of people who are helping us and advocating for him to help him get medical care. As of right now he still does not have insurance and we are still paying for his medications out of pocket. On top of that I have been out of work for 2 weeks as my job of 5 years was bought out by corporate and let me go. So now we are two weeks behind on bills which is obviously not helping his health. We are very appreciative for all the donations to help us get into our home without the strain on him. We are asking for a little more help to ensure that he has everything that he needs, and we can afford to fill his medications.

As some of you know, Steven has cancer. We are working on more pin point specifics, we do know is it's stage 3. There's a tumor that's wrapped itself around his esophagus and stomach, we don't know if it's in his lymph nodes yet.

What we do know, is he's starting chemo soon and getting his port placed within a week.

That same week we have to be out of our old house and we need help.

In the coming weeks we need help moving or funds for movers, we are paying for his prescriptions and appointments out of pocket until we can get him Medicaid and we are missing work. And while we know it won't be hard forever, we could use some help.
