I want to share a glimpse of Steven’s story with you! Steven Garcia is my brother-in-law. He is 21 years old, born in Chicago Illinois, and was raised in Guatemala. Steven returned to the United States, when he was 10 years old. He came to have a better life and education.

Steven, began working at the age of 15 years old, to help out financially! Although he began working at a young age, he didn’t neglect his studies as a high schooler, in Hudson High School. Steven graduated High School in Class of 2022.

He began working as a painter, and became an entrepreneur in residential painting. Steven has a giving heart, and has never hesitated to help his family in Guatemala, financially. He worked for over one year in painting, and then decided to move onto doing, landscaping. He began to work for a reputable landscaping company in Massachusetts, early 2024. Due to his current circumstances, Steven is unable to work.
The only strength that he has, is used fighting against, this illness that has came to invade his body, leukemia lymphoblastic lymphoma.

In June 14, 2015, Steven was hospitalized due to severe nosebleeds, fatigue, and dizziness. When he arrived at the hospital, his blood levels were critically low, with only 3 quarts of blood in his body - half of the normal 6 quarts. This was a shocking discovery, and the road ahead has been incredibly challenging.

Further testing revealed that Steven has leukemia in the blood, lymphatic system, which has spread to his spinal cord and brain. He's started chemotherapy and will require ongoing treatment. Despite the challenges, Steven remains positive and hopeful. With the support of loved ones, the medical team, and most importantly the help of, God, we are hopeful for a positive outcome.

To help support Steven during this challenging time, a GoFundMe has been set up to cover medical expenses and other costs. Any donation, prayer, or share of this post would be greatly appreciated. Your support means the world to Steven and his loved ones.

Let's come together to support Steven and his family during this tough time. #SupportSteven #LeukemiaAwareness #lymphomaawaeness
