Hi Family and Friends of the Kramer family,

Stephanie Kramer, local business owner, wife, and mom of 2 wonderful girls, Kaitlyn (12) and Cassandra (10), was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in July of 2021. We are looking for people who want to join the Kramer Family in this fight to beat this cancer!  Unfortunately, Stephanie is unable to work during this time and we do not want her to worry about the unplanned expenses that will be part of this treatment. Typically many things are not covered by insurance and can cause financial burden and stress. We want Stephanie and John to focus on healing and enjoying time with their girls.

Stephanie's battle with cancer started about a month ago when she was up all night with left abdominal pain. She startled her husband at 7:00 a.m. when she woke him to drive her to the emergency room. Scans at the hospital revealed a large mass in front of her heart. The emergency room physician transferred her to UPMC Shadyside for admission and further evaluation. She spent four nights at Shadyside and ultimately received the diagnosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma. Disease has spread to multiple lymph nodes and into her lungs. Treatment is aggressive and is expected to provide a full cure. She will spend the next six months receiving chemotherapy.

The Kramer family has received an outpouring of love and support from families, friends, neighbors and other loved ones. They thank you all for your continued prayers and messages of support. While we know this is a difficult time, we trust in the Lord that this is a temporary trial. They remain in good spirits and place faith in our Lord that healing will come in good time.
