Join Stefania's Battle with Stage 4 Cancer

Hello, my name is Dave and I am the son of Susan VanBrunt who is married to Stefania Wellott. About 2 years ago, Stef was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, treatable but not curable. Since then, she has been going to Roswell Cancer Center for chemotherapy every 4 weeks. As of now, Stef is holding her own and continuing the treatments. There are good days and there are bad days. The treatments take a lot out of her, but she is strong and can handle the downs and ups.

A second condition with her kidneys caused by the cancer requires surgery, but her lungs need to be strong enough for the doctors to do the surgery. There is a tumor that goes from the kidney to the heart that needs to be removed. So for now, the chemo will continue until the lungs are well enough for the surgery.

Stef does have some insurance and Medicare, but neither come close to covering the rising total of all the doctor's visits and therapies. Keeping up with all the medical bills is beginning to put a strain on keeping up with all the everyday bills and expenses of life in general.

I am starting this gofundme page to try and raise a little money to help both of them pay their medical and everyday bills of normal life as they journey this road to recovery and healing.
