Hi everyone, my name is Sebastian, and I’m one of Simbarina’s nine siblings. I am proud to be her brother. Our family has always been close, but now more than ever, we’re holding each other tight as Simbarina faces a life-altering diagnosis. We’re rallying around her with love, faith, and a deep belief in her strength.

Simbarina is 45 years old and was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma a rare and aggressive form of cancer. She’s now in the fight of her life, and we’re calling on our extended community to join us in lifting her up with love, hope, and support.

If you know Simbarina, then you already know she doesn’t just show up for people, she shows up with flavor. Her love language is soul food. She pours her heart into every dish, whether it’s a pan of creamy potato salad, a tray of tacos made just right, or a big spread of soul food classics that could make you weep tears of joy.

Cooking is how Simbarina connects. Her kitchen has been the heart of so many family memories full of laughter, storytelling, and the kind of love that sticks with you long after the meal is over.

She loves being surrounded by her family her grandchildren’s laughter, the comfort of her child nearby, the bond of her siblings and mother all gathered close. Family isn’t just important to Simbarina it’s everything. And when she’s in her element, serving up joy from a hot stove, you can see just how much love she carries in her heart.

She also loves fishing a peaceful pastime that gives her space to reflect and recharge. But even then, she’s thinking about who she’ll cook for next.

Simbarina is facing an uphill battle, and we’re asking for your support to help cover her medical expenses including treatments, medications, and necessary care along with everyday essentials like transportation, groceries, and household support.

We know it’s hard to ask for help, and we wouldn’t be doing so if it weren’t truly necessary. But right now, we need our village.
