Help Our Brother, Tyler Gouslin, Beat Cancer
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
We are Tyler’s Sigma Nu brothers, and we’re reaching out for support on behalf of our brother, Tyler Gouslin, as he battles cancer once again and needs our help.
This past November 2024, during Thanksgiving break, Tyler received devastating news: the cancer he fought so hard against during his senior year of high school has returned. He has been diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma in his sacrum, and the fight is on once again.
Tyler is no stranger to adversity. Not only did he battle cancer in high school, but he also endured the heartbreaking loss of his father, Bill Gouslin, to pancreatic cancer. Through it all, Tyler remained strong—supported by his family, friends, and an unstoppable spirit.
Determined to move forward, Tyler joined the University of Colorado Boulder in Fall 2024, where he was excelling in his business classes and had just begun his journey in Sigma Nu. He was thriving—until the cancer came back.
Now, after only a few short months of health, Tyler faces his biggest challenge yet. His best chance to beat cancer once and for all is through a life-saving spinal surgery, performed by top specialists at a hospital away from his hometown of San Diego.
Here’s the reality of Tyler’s fight:
✅ The Good News: Tyler has been accepted for surgery this spring, following about four rounds of chemotherapy to slow and shrink the tumor.
❌ The Challenge: The medical expenses, along with the cost of relocating for four to five weeks for surgery and rehabilitation, are overwhelming for his family.
Despite their incredible resilience, Tyler, his mom, and his younger brother cannot do this alone. We are coming together to raise funds so Tyler can undergo this critical surgery with his mother by his side, providing the love and support he needs to heal.
How Your Donation Helps:
Travel expenses to and from the hospital for Tyler and his family
Accommodations and living expenses for the multi-week stay
Medical costs not covered by insurance

Thank you for taking the time to read Tyler’s story—your kindness, generosity, and support means everything.
Let’s rally behind Tyler and help him win this fight.
